COVID-19 UPDATE 

CLASSES ARE BACK IN SESSION!

For the foreseeable future, classes will be limited to previously-enrolled students whose Spring sessions were cancelled due to COVID. Following CDC guidelines, current classes are limited to 5 students, on a 3-hour/6- week schedule. Mask wearing is required at all times. When public health guidelines allow, we'll look forward to welcoming new students. Until such time, stay safe and stay well.

Classes

Wheel classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and are limited to FIVE adults. No Handbuilding classes are offered at this time. All classes are open to all levels. Classes are not interchangeable.
Toolkits available for purchase; bring your own towel and apron. Firing Fees: 5 cents/cubic inch. Towel rental: $1/visit. To inquire about class openings, or to place your name on a waiting list, please contact us at: email@earthworksnyc.com

Wheel Classes

thowing a pot on a wheel Throw pots on the electric potter’s wheel! Learn the skills needed to center, form shapes, trim and finish pots using the wheel. Decorating and glazing techniques will also be demonstrated.

Handbuilding Class

handbuilding pottery Build pots by hand thru pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Decorating and glazing techniques will also be demonstrated. There is no wheel instruction.

Benchtime

Available by appointment only to currently registered students. Students: Check your email for a link to the benchtime appointment calendar. Mask wearing is required at all times.
